We're Number One: ASE Certified.
| The
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) was
established in 1972 to "improve the quality of vehicle repair and
service in the United States through the testing and certification
of automotive repair technicians." Presently,
there are 400,000 technicians with current certifications on ASE's
rosters, with Spruce Park Auto Body having seven of them. |
| ASE
conducts examinations in special areas, and issues two levels
of certification: ASE certified technicians have passed a basic
exam and have two years of work experience, and ASE Master Technicians
have passed a battery of relevant examinations. The exams are not
easy: one out of three applicants fails. |

Quality
auto body shops hire ASE certified technicians, who maintain
their certification through exams taken every five years. This
